Hospice Services

Serving Families Throughout North Texas Wherever They Call Home.

Caring for someone with a serious illness can feel like you’re trying to be a nurse, care coordinator, advocate, and family member ALL at the same time. It is exhausting to carry so much, to make so many decisions, and to still worry that your loved one may not be getting all the support they need.

Hospice care is designed to come alongside you, not replace you. At AlēvCare Hospice, we provide a full range of hospice services for families guided by national standards, strengthened by our Perfect Visit training model, and grounded in our Grow Small philosophy that keeps every interaction personal, intentional, and steady.

What Our Hospice Care Includes

Hospice care focuses on comfort, dignity, and quality of life. Instead of pursuing treatments that may no longer help, hospice centers care around symptom relief, emotional support, and meaningful time together.

At AlēvCare Hospice, our care services include:

  • Medical oversight and guidance

  • Personal care and daily support
  • Emotional, social, and spiritual care

Specialized Child and Teen Support

Children and teens feel the impact of serious illness in ways that are often overlooked. They hear whispers, feel tension in the home, and sense change long before adults realize it, yet they often don’t have the words to ask what is happening.

AlēvCare Hospice is the only hospice in our service area that employs a full-time Child Life Specialist. We choose to provide this service because we believe children and teenagers deserve the same level of thoughtful, developmentally appropriate support during some of life’s most difficult moments.

Our Child Life Specialist helps by:

  • Supporting children and young adults, generally ages 4 through early adulthood
  • Using play, art, stories, and conversation to explain illness, changes, and end of life in age appropriate ways
  • Giving kids and teens safe ways to express fear, sadness, anger, and love
  • Coaching parents, grandparents, and caregivers on how to talk with children about what’s happening
  • Providing grief and bereavement resources tailored to different ages and stages of development
  • Bringing nationally-recognized expertise in childhood grief and coping

When you invite AlēvCare Hospice into your home, you are choosing a team that sees and supports the* whole family,* including the youngest hearts in the room.

The WHOLE STAFF was professional, compassionate, informative, patient, and responsive. Their team made the whole process of mom's passing less stressful. They were caring and comforting. My sister and I are very grateful for the service of AlevCare Hospice of Mansfield, Texas.

My mother was cared for by AlevCare during the last few months of her life. From the administration, volunteers, chaplains, aids and especially the nurses the care she received was top notch. My sister and I feel that their compassionate and thoughtful care greatly improved the quality of her life. Additionally, they communicated with us frequently and we knew what to expect. Since Mom passed (gently and painlessly)they have been very supportive for our family.

I highly recommend AlevCare.

Miss Becky came into my life from a referral. What an absolute Godsend she is! Her crew were quick to get a hospital bed and supplies to my house and all of the people she sent were the very best at what they do. First it was a company called Horizon that came and set up the bed, oxygen and supplies. Mark at Horizon was professional and fast at delivery and pick up. They also had medications delivered to my door! Then it was the Case Worker, Tonya, and the RN Carlie that made decisions that were best for our situation. Two nurse angels from Mercy named Carol and Kristin took shifts to keep my darling husband comfortable while I grieved. There was also Nurse Celia who was so compassionate and patient with my confused husband!! Miss Becky had everything under control during a heartbreaking time for me and from start to finish the whole team was compassionate, professional and extremely competent. I recommend AlevCare Hospice very highly should your family be in the heartbreaking situation we were in. I call them the parade of angels that show up and manage the entire process for you. Thank you to this lovely team of sweet professionals! I will be grateful to each one of you for the rest of my life!
